Chinese premier to attend SCO meeting

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has arrived in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to attend the 11th prime ministers' meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao (C,front) is welcomed by Kyrgyz Prime Minister Zhantoro Satybaldiyev (R, front) upon his arrival in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, Dec. 4, 2012. 

Earlier, Wen said that as neighbouring countries, China and Kyrgyzstan have enjoyed and benefited from cooperation since the establishment of diplomatic ties 2 decades ago. He also said the two countries have become good neighbours, friends and partners.

After the stop at Kyrgyzstan, Wen Jiabao will head to Russia where he is expected to hold talks with Russian leaders.
