Since South Korean Rapper Psy's "Gangnam Style" became a global hit, another "smaller" figure in this music video left a strong impression on many of its 1.2 billion viewers. "Little Psy" says he wants to become more famous than Psy one day.

Hwang Min-Woo, a half-Korean and half-Vietnamese upstart known as "Little Psy," has left an indelible impression on the playground despite his brief, 10-second appearance in the introduction of Psy's "Gangnam Style" music video.

This toothless dance wonder has been "horse-riding" his way to international stardom.

After a brief nine-second appearance as Korean Rapper Psy's playground mini-me figure in the "Gangnam Style" music video, the 7-year-old Korean boy has already performed in the US, Vietnam, China, and the Philippines. And he's appeared in commercials such as this one.

The half-Korean and half-Vietnamese Hwang Min-woo, dressed in a tailor-made suit, introduces himself as "Little Psy".

He made it to the mega-hit music video by first appearing in a few TV audition programs.

Hwang Min-Woo, a half-Korean and half-Vietnamese upstart known as "Little Psy," has left an indelible impression on the playground despite his brief, 10-second appearance in the introduction of Psy's "Gangnam Style" music video.

Hwang Min-Woo, "Little Psy", said, "YG Entertainment first saw me on audition programs like "Korea Got Talent". They said, ‘wow! He looks a lot like Psy!' So when they showed my clips to Psy he said, ‘This is it! Let's film the day after tomorrow!' And they called me immediately."

I'm trying to learn this Gangam Style dance from Hwang Min-woo, otherwise known as Little Psy. And it's not as easy as it looks.

After a few point lessons, Min-woo continues to show off his dance moves in full-swing. It's amazing to see so much energy comes out of a figure who's only about 1.2 meters tall.

"Little Psy", said, "I want to be a global star, more famous than Psy, but I don't want to copy anyone. I want to become a world star on my own."

But at home in Gwang-ju, in his mother's arms, we are reminded that he is only a little boy and a loving son. "When I grow up to be a singer, I'm going to give my mom and dad lots of money."

Whether in a suit, casual clothes, or his pajamas, one thing's for sure: he is a natural dancer and he loves what he does, even if it means missing out on school and hanging out with friends.
