Japan's House of Councillors has passed a resolution calling for sanctions against the DPRK, over its recent nuclear test. The news, which was announced by NHK, follows the resolution's approval by the lower house on Thursday.

Earlier this week, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the action by the DPRK was a direct threat to Japanese security. For the very latest, we can cross live to our correspondent Terrence Terashima in Tokyo.

Q1: Hello, Terry. Can you tell us more about the planned sanctions, what sort of things will they cover?

Q2: There's growing speculation that the DPRK may carry out another test, or even launch another rocket. Is that a major concern for Japan?
