Nestle, the world's biggest food producer, has found more than 1 percent of horse DNA in two of its beef pasta meals on Monday. It has since removed all its problematic beef meals from shelves in Italy and Spain but says there is no food safety issue.

On the same day, Nestle stopped deliveries of questionable beef from a German supplier, HJ Schypke, a sub-contractor of JBS Toledo, one of world's major meat processing companies. Just last week, Nestle insisted its products had nothing to do with the scandal. Meanwhile, Nestle will also withdraw a frozen pasta product for catering businesses in France.
