The Chinese Super League's new ambassador David Beckham is continuing his whirlwind tour of Beijing. On Sunday, Beckham headed to Peking University to speak to students there and as you might just expect, there was plenty of love for the footballing superstar.
Although Beckham was well late arriving at Peking University that was quickly forgotten.
China's elite students provided Beckham with the chance to have a taste of the four traditional Chinese hobbies associated with educated men playing the gu qin, the board game go, writing calligraphy, and painting.
A totally stranger to the ancient Chinese instrument, Beckham patiently learnt it from a student.

Later, a simple melody by him drew generous cheers from the fans.
The Paris Saint Germain midfielder later showed off his calligraphy skills and was again hailed by students.
In the Q and A part, a fan raised a question about his tatoo. Perhaps trying to make up for being late, the British superstar opened his shirt, showing his Chinese tattoo that drew wild screams.
Before he left, the 37-year-old expressed his hopes for the students.
