If you are a player or fan of Paris Saint Germain you may want to look away now. Even without Linel Messi and a string of other first teamers Barcelona beat Real Mallorca 5-nil in La Liga with Cesc Fabregas blasting a hat-trick. The Catalans maintain their thirteen point lead at the top of the table.

Messi was missing following the hamstring injury he picked up in the Champions League in the French capital last week. But Farbregas stepped up manfully he exchanges passes with Alexis Sanchez and finishes with aplomb to put Barca on their way. Gorgeous goal.

And less than two minutes later it was two nil this time the combination worked in the opposite direction but with the same result as Fabregas shot was saved by Duda Auote , Sanchez slotted home the rebound.

And the goals kept coming Sanchez and Fabregas were leading a two man charge their interplay here was immaculate as Fabregas adds his second of the evening and that was three nil. And then guess what? Fabregas picks up the ball in midfield and picks out partner in crime, Sanchez and he now has two goals and Barcelona had four.

Fabregas managed to pick up his first ever hat-trick after half time. Sanchez not involved in this goal as Andreas Iniesta plays the ball into the former Arsenal man and he finished. Perhaps he can be the perfect replacement for Messi, should Barca need one, when the favorites for the champions league meet Paris on Wednesday with the scores locked at 2-2 following the first leg.

Real Madrid will also be in champion’s league action this weekend. They also scored five goals. gonzao Higuain, Kaka, cricstiano Roaldo and then two late goals from Mehmet Orzil giving them an easy win over Levante. Deportivo remain in the relegation zone but got a very big win against fellow strugglers Zaragoza. Real Sociedad consolidated fourth place with victory over Malaga, they on four-two to go four points clear of Malaga who stay in fifth place.
