Nuclear tension is growing on the Korean Peninsula. Earlier this month, two mid-range Musudan missile complexes were positioned on the eastern coast. Intelligence information says the complexes are in a ready-to-launch status.

Pyongyang follows a tradition of marking big anniversaries with bold military actions. Thursday is the country’s People’s Army anniversary. Both South Korea and the US are on alert for a possible launch within the next 48 hours.

Kim Min-Seok, spokesman of South Korean Defense Ministry, said, "We believe so far the DPRK has not disassembled the missiles from its eastern shore. Only when they remove the missiles can the tension on the Korean Peninsula be eased."

Pyongyang has not responded to the rising expectation from Washington, DC and Soul. DPRK’s state news agency has been running commentaries criticising the conditions proposed by the two countries for dialogue.

The articles have stressed on the resolutions of staging hard-core measures against sanction on the DPRK and not touched on any military action. Fresh footages from the bordering town of Panmunjom show that situation there has not deteriorated.
