According to South Korea's Defense Ministry, the DPRK has fired more projectiles into the sea off its east coast on Monday. South Korea's Yonhap news agency quoted the office of South Korean President Park Geun-hye, as saying that the "North should not engage in tension-creating acts".
Pyongyang described the launches as a "regular military exercise." The DPRK fired three projectiles into waters off its east coast on Saturday and a fourth on Sunday. It then fired two more on Monday. The latest launches come after Pyongyang criticized the presence of a US nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in a South Korean port and its reported participation in joint naval drills.
