China's Central Meteorological Station continues to issue a yellow alert for rainstorms across the country.

The storm is expected to affect Sichuan and Yunan province in Southwest China, Gansu province and Shaanxi province in Northwest China, Liaoning and Jilin province in Northeast China, and coastal regions in southern China.

The amount of rainfall in those areas is expected to hit 180 millimetres. Experts are warning people to watch out for flooding and landslides. Local authorities are closely monitoring the storm, and making sure they are prepared to evacuate residents in areas of imminent danger.
