Boeing could also have been at fault for the design of sliding ramps which were deployed inside the plane. Asiana Boeing 777 crash-landed in San Francisco International Airport, killing three teenage girls and injuring over 180 other passengers and crew.

Another Asiana flight has been delayed for 17 hours in Los Angeles due to an engine oil leak. The leak was found as the Boeing 777 prepared for takeoff from Los Angeles International Airport, bound for South Korea's Incheon airport. Around 200 passengers had to wait at a nearby hotel as the plane was worked on.
