J-10 fighters from China's top aerobatic team have made their presence at the MAKS-2013 airshow, which has opened at Moscow's Ramenskoye Airport.

These are the first test flights of the J-10s at the airport. Six of the fighters performed more than 20 stunts in 22 minutes, practicing their moves in different orders. The J-10 fighters, designed and manufactured using indigenous Chinese technology, are the showcase of the PLA August the 1st Air Demonstration Team, established 51 years ago.

The Moscow tour is the team's first display abroad and also the fighter has flown outside of China. The event is part of an annual military exchange program between China and Russia. China's particpation is intended to highlight the developments in Chinese aviation and to strengthen the military ties between Russia and China.
