Guangzhou Evergrande who have just come off the pitch after having, pretty much the perfect game against Kashiwa Reysol in Japan.

Evergrande were playing in the last four for the first time, and paid for their lack of experience after only ten minutes. Cleo scoring for the hosts. Kashiwa looking capable of continuing their unbeaten run early on.

Elkeson scored the third, while Muriqui capped off a dominant 4-1 win with his 11th goal of the campaign. Guangzhou head home with a huge advantage for the second leg next week. In the other semi-final FC Seoul beat Iran's Esteghlal 2-0.
