Chinese champions beat Japan's Kashiwa Reysol 4-0

Guangzhou Evergrande has become the first Chinese club to reach the final of the AFC Champions League after beating Japan’s Kashiwa Reysol 4-0 at home.

The Chinese champions, coached by World Cup-winning manager Marcello Lippi, completed a comfortable 8-1 aggregate win in their top four clash. At Tianhe Sports Center, Guangzhou dominated possession in the first half. Elkeson got the goal to put the Chinese Champions 1-nil ahead in the 16th minute. Early In the second half, Conca put Guangzhou 2-0 up with a powerful header. In the closing period, Muriqui scored twice to take his tournament tally to a record 13 goals.
