Chinese Premier welcomed by Vietnamese PM and people

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has arrived in Vietnam, the last leg of his southeast Asian tour. Premier Li was welcomed by his Vietnamese counterpart, along with an honor guard, and young children holding flowers.

Putting the final preparations in place…

Flags raised on lampposts along the streets of Hanoi, as Vietnam prepares to welcome Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.

"Last minutes preparations getting on the way...these young children who are going to give a brief performance." Tony Cheng said.

The honor guard representing all of Vietnam´s armed forces marched into place. As the young girls waved their flags the Chinese delegation arrived.

Vietnams Prime Minister stood with Premier Li as the National anthems were played. And then Premier Li reviewed the honor guard. This is the third high level visit between China and Vietnam this year.

After the formalities were complete it was down to business. Li Keqiang exchanged a handshake with his counterpart and then the two men moved into closed session, to get the real business of this trip underway.
