The Wachowski siblings say they're hoping to again surprise audiences with 'Jupiter Ascending', a film starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis. The works centers on a lowly janitor who learns that she has a great genetic destiny.

Andy and Lana Wachowski say they are currently overseeing editing and special effects for the movie, set for release next summer.

She said, "It's a science fiction space opera. It's very -- it has a lot of things from a lot of genres that we love. It's got a lot of original action, it's got a lot of romance. Mila and Channing are amazing in it. The English actors are incredible."

The duo's last work was the epic drama 'Cloud Atlas'. The multi-layered sci-fi film consists of six interrelated stories set in different time periods. The Wachowskis believe their next work will be compared to 'Cloud Atlas', but only in some aspects.

"It's easier to edit. That was a really, really complex film structurally. So we're getting through it pretty quickly. But the visual effects are also way more complicated. So it has its pluses and minuses," she said.

The film is set to be released on July 25th next year. After completing three large-scale projects in as many years, the Wachowskis say they may take a long break. So be sure not to miss what could be the last of their films for a long time.
