And finally, people in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, were treated to a rare sight on Friday morning, when three suns appeared in the sky.

The real sun suddenly appeared to have two smaller twins, and was surrounded by rainbow-like halos.

It only appears when ice crystals create high clouds in the air around 6,000 meters above ground, reflecting sunlight.
