DPRK's state-run television KRT says its leader Kim Jong Un has mourned the sailors who died in action in October this year.

Kim paid his tribute to the sailors and observed a minute's silence. He said he can not sleep thinking these sailors died at such a young age.

Kim paid his tribute to the sailors and observed a minute's silence. He said he can not sleep thinking these sailors died at such a young age. He asked the army to learn the spirit of these sailors.

KRT said the sailors sacrificed their lives in a task but did not mention what it was. The inscription on the tombstone shows they died on October the 13th. Considering there was no military conflict at the time, the media suggests the sailors may have died in a military drill.

Kim held the funeral for the sailors and guided the building of tombs. Japan's NHK says about 30 sailors died in the incident.
