The Golden State Warriors were attempting to get back in the win column on Tuesday. The Warriors had dropped three straight as they rolled into New Orleans, where they would look to hand the Pelicans their first home loss in five games.

We pick things up in the second quarter, and the Warriors find Steph Curry open in the corner he’s money. Only 16 for him on the night. G-State up 9.

And then they are on the fast break, when Jrue Holliday makes an incredible steal from Curry and head the other way the New Orleans guard then finds Anthony Davis up top for the lob. That throwdown turns it into a 4-point game.

Late in the third quarter and the Pellies down three but they would even things at 65, as Eric Gordon hits from the land beyond. He had 16

off to the fourth and the Warriors up four, and they make it 6 as Klay Thompson beats his man off the inbounds pass, smart play by the sharp-shooter.

And then he shows off his touch from behind the arc. 22 on the nigh for Thompson and Golden State is up 5 with three minutes to go.

But N’ahlens would cut the deficit to three and Davis is there to clean up the miss. 1 point game with less than a minute to play.

And the home side has a chance to win it at the end, but Eric Gordon’s three is off the mark. Golden State holds on for a 102-101 win and end a three game losing streak.

John Wall had 31 points and nine assists as Washington downed the Lakers. Brooklyn ended a five-game losing streak by beating Toronto 102-100. And Arron Afflalo scored 26 points, as the Orlando Magic snapped a 17-game road losing streak with a 109-92 victory over Atlanta.
