Some Christmas cheer now, as the NBA legend - Shaquille O'Neal - has hosted a holiday carnival for hundreds of young kids in southern California.

Wearing an elfs Christmas hat, O'Neal handed out toys to more than 300 kids at the Boys and Girls Club of Venice in Los Angeles. The camp delivers youth development programs in academic success, good character and healthy lifestyles to over 4,000 children a year. The former Lakers star and four-time NBA champion said he hosts the event because every kid deserves a memorable holiday season.
