A-fifty-year old man in central China's Henan province has managed to build a "home-made Lamborghini", albeit a bit smaller than the original.

Mr Guo spent eight months and 700 yuan making his miniature version of the classic Italian sports car. It weighs around 250 kilos, and is fully equipped and according to Mr Guo himself, runs on battery power alone.

He says he built his self-made supercar to take his grandson to school. But police now say he can’t take it on the road, for safety reasons. Nevertheless, Guo says just building the car has made his family, and his grandson, very proud.
