Guizhou came into match with great confidence, having won the Chinese Super Cup in December. But they suffered a major setback 27 into the game. Their main goal-scorer Zlatan Mus-limovic going off injured. And things went from bad to worse for the visitors as they went a goal behind 5 minutes later.

Renatinho scoring direct from a free kick. There were several good chances for Guizhou but they couldn’t convert any of them, and 1-0 is how it finished. They will next face Western Sydney Wanderers on the 12th of March.
