A recent online survey by CCTV NEWS has been asking netizens what topics they cared about most during the two sessions. According to this poll on sina weibo, the top issue was air pollution, followed by reforms to the one-child policy and the battle against corruption. E-finance, urbanization and food safety were also among the top ten issues.

When we break it down geographically, people in Beijing were concerned about most of the topics. While most netizens in Shandong and Zhejiang Provinces were concerned about reforms to the one-child policy and food safety respectively.

And people in different age groups had different priorities as well. Elderly care was an important concern for both people over fifty and those aged 30 to 39.

Also, male netizens paid more attention to E-commerce, and reforming state owned enterprises, while female netizens cared more about environmental protection and food safety.
