E-commerce giant Alibaba may invest in logistics of agricultural produce. That's according to agriculture Minister Han Changfu.

Han says logistics involving agriculture produce is a weak link in the chain. The cost of circulation is high and that leaves slim profits to farmers. The Minister points out Chinese policy welcomes companies to participate in agricultural logistics.

The government work report released during the two sessions also encourages development of e-commerce, and logistics in the agricultural sector.
