At least 8 elementary school students have been killed, and 32 others injured, after a tour bus overturned in the city of Wenchang in south China's Hainan province.

The bus overturned as it was passing a bend on the road. It was carrying 46 passengers, including 43 students, 2 teachers and the driver. Most of the injured are in stable condition. The bus is leased by the school from a car rental company. Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident.
