Two giant pandas born in the US have come home to China.

Southwest China's Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding will be the new home of the two males named Xi Lan and Ah Bao. Staff have prepared everything to welcome them--sleeping quarters and two kinds of fresh bamboo shoots.

Staff say the two pandas are healthy, both physically and mentally. Experts say due to the differences of climate and food in China and the US, it will take about one month for the two pandas to adjust to the new environment.

Xi Lan and Ah Bao were born at the Atlanta Zoo to their mother Lun Lun and father Yang Yang. Xi Lan is five years old and Ah Bao is three.
