Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with the UK's Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle on Tuesday. Li Keqiang said China is ready to work with the UK to further improve bilateral ties. He also expressed China's appreciation for the support shown by the Queen and the rest of the British royal family in developing these relations.

The premier said he hopes the royal family members can play a positive role in deepening the friendship between the two countries, and that they are welcome to visit China in the future.
The Queen noted the great changes that have taken place in China since her visit in 1986. She added that more and more Chinese students and tourists are coming to the UK, and she hoped that these exchanges between youths from both sides would help broaden their vision and improve understanding and friendship.
