Australian Open Champion Li Na has advanced to the third round at Wimbledon with a 6-2 6-2 win over her Austrian rival Yvonne Meusburger. After the match, Li Na confided to Richard Bestic that winning came with a new, highly aggressive game plan.

Welcome to Wimbledon, where Li Na has powered through to the third round in a remarkable time, taking those straight sets 6-2 6-2 in just over an hour against her Austrian rival Yvonne Meusburger, she proved herself too powerful. Even though some might suggest that Li Na wasn't playing to her top form; she certainly did the job.

It was a robust performance from China's double grand slam winner. Second seeded Li Na taking full advantage of her higher ranking over the Austrian, who had four winners in the match to Li Na's 33. The reigning Australian Open Champion now goes on to play the 28 year-old Czech Barbora Zah-lo-vova Stry-cova in the third round.

And to talk us through that match, we have with us here now Li Na. Li Na thank you very much for joining us on Sports Scene; an aggressive forceful performance. It looked like you were enjoying yourself out there?

"I was really happy the way I played. I'm really happy the way I'm hitting the ball right now, especially today. I think I've played more aggressively and tried as much as I could to come to the net," Li said.

And that's the way you plan to continue – because there are those who say there were a number of unforced errors?

"I think this is the way, you know. If you try a new thing of course you'll make mistakes, but I will try to follow the plan as much as I can.," Li said.

Well enjoy it and thank you very much for talking to us. And there we hear from Li Na saying that she's trying a new way – a more aggressive style of playing. It certainly worked here at Wimbledon and now she moves on to the third round and with her new style, perhaps further success.
