"Building a new model of relationship between China and the United States requires us to respect each other, treat each other with sincerity, correctly view each other's strategic intentions, and avoid strategic misjudgement." Yang Jiechi, Chinese State Councilor said, "Chinese people are working hard to realize our two 100-year goals. We will firmly stick to a peaceful development path. "I think it really is a good idea not to be perturbed by differences; there will be some." John Kerry, US Secretary of State, "But as we said yesterday, the key to this relationship, the key of building the future for both of us, is to be able to manage those differences effectively while we find a way to cooperate on the most significant challenges."
