760 students attend National Robot Contest in Xinjiang

Teenage robot fans from around China have gathered at Xinjiang Normal University and the region's Science and Technology Museum, to share ideas and to compete in a contest. 760 student contestants from 29 provinces, cities and regions are vying for the awards.

Teenage robot fans from around China have gathered at Xinjiang Normal University and the region's Science and Technology Museum, to share ideas and to compete in a contest. 

The National Student Robot Contest is the largest of its kind in artificial technology. The contestants are divided into three groups: elementary school, middle school and high school. They compete in five categories, which are creative robots, robot skills, robot football match, and two task-completion competitions.

Teenage robot fans from around China have gathered at Xinjiang Normal University and the region's Science and Technology Museum, to share ideas and to compete in a contest. 

These hopefuls have been chosen from 10-million students who have taken part in minor competitions in schools, towns, or other competition zones. The winning team will go on to represent China in international contests.
