The Yunnan wild animal park celebrated its 10th anniversary with an unusual twist. Under the watchful eye of zoo keepers, a procession of wild animals marched down the street.

A tiger on leash was the biggest attraction, as the crowd shouted cheers at the animal. Alpacas and camels were all dressed up in flowers and ribbons, and two water buffalo, who had seen a face-painting artist prior to the parade, were also one of the highlights.

Two of the 22 black bear cubs rescued by local police from an illegal animal trader in March were carried by their handlers. The zoo's veterinarians used comic relief to show how they care for the former wild animals.
