During the World Cup this year, Beijing Police cracked down a gang that created an account on a foreign gambling website and organized illegal activities by betting via phone and the chat application Wechat.

Guo Meimei was involved in the case.

"I've been gambling football on line, during the World Cup," Guo said.

According to the investigations, this is only a small part of Guo's long gambling history. Evidence show she traveled to Macau, Hong Kong and neighbouring countries of China to gamble for up to 60 times, since the year 2010. Her personal assistant says Guo Meimei has a craze in gambling.

"Guo Meimei goes to Macau for gambling a lot. She puts a lot in the games. After winning, she would exchange the money directly to Chinese yuan and save it to her card," Guo Meimei's personal assistant Ms. Lyu said.

Taking part in gambling could not fill the huge appetite of Guo. This came after she met one man in late 2012.

"I met a foreign boyfriend. We started to date after we met each other for some four to five days," Guo said.

Her foreign boyfriend was Mr. Kang, a professional Taxas Poker player. The two started to set up their own casinos in Beijing. Guo invited her friends to join. Police estimates the games to worth from hundred thousand to millions of yuan. Guo got illegal commison of over 100,000 yuan. Besides gambling, Guo was also involved in sex trade.

"She told her family that she was going to attend a commercial performance in Ningbo. But she was not. She was going to meet one man. The man picked us up at the airport. That was the first time that they met. He already booked a room for them at a hotel. When I went to help her gather things up the next morning, there was 250 thousand yuan at the bedside," Ms. Lyu said.

Guo was used to this kind of "deals". According to her own confession, in July 2013, she flew from Beijing to Guangdong to meet a man after recieving a 50-thousand-yuan earnest money.

"He transfered 50 thousand yuan to my card. And he gave me another 300 thousand Hong Kong dollar to me. We had sexual relationship on the day of my arrival. The next day I said I would go back to Beijing. He then bought me the air ticket. He transfered another 110 thousand yuan to my account after I returned to Beijing," Guo said.

In the eyes of Guo's personal assistant, she had a very indecent life. She said Guo takes a lot of men home, most of them were foreign. And she only looks for rich Chinese man "clients".
