Yang Hao stroms to gold in men's 10m platform

China's Yang Hao won men's 3m springboard gold on Sunday. And the 16-year-old was looking to make it back-to-back championships as he led by an astonishing 107.75 points after the qualifying round in the 10m platform competition.

Yang's 5th and last dive also led all competitors, Yang would grab a total of 665.90 points, or 134.2 more than the runner up. Philippe Gagne of Canada took silver, while Mexican Rodrigo Diego Lopez won bronze. 

The gold would be decided with the sum score of the preliminaries and the final. With more than 100 points in his pocket, Yang felt basically no pressure throughout.

Starting from his second attempt, the 16-year-old would wow the audience as well as other divers.

Check out the impressive dive by Yang. And he would get 89.10 points for that. And the Chinese boy did not stop from there, in his 4th attempt, he again impresses everyone in the venue, including the referees.

Yang got 101.5 points for the dive, an all night high!

China's Chang wins women's boxing title

China's Chang Yuan would add a gold for the hosts in the women's flyweight. Chang faced Irma Testa of Italy. The Chinese boxer left her opponent with few chances, and cruised to victory with ease. All three judges believed that Chang beat her opponent 39-37.

South Korean throttles Brazilian opponent d'Almeida 7-3

In men's archery, the last event, Men's Recurve Individual final pit South Korean favorite Lee Woo Seok against Marcus d'Almeida from Brazil. Lee was in ridiculous form, nailing 3 10s in 4 of the 5 sets in the final. Conceding only 1 set, Lee beat d'Almeida 7-3 to win the gold.
