The infra-red camera caught the mother panda with her cub in a cave in Southwest China's Sichuan province.

Wild panda cub filmed for the first time 

At midnight, the mother woke up to coddle the baby. At dawn they turned in their sleep to face the camera. Finally around noon, they were ready to venture out with the mother panda vigilant as ever for any dangers.
