A Northern Virginia man has perhaps the most tantalizing job around. Silvino Lima samples donuts all day to make sure they meet his high standards. And that means he gets to put the finishing touches on a variety of donuts from Strawberry Frosted to Boston Kreme to the classic Jelly donut.

A tasty job that makes your perfect bite |
"I am a Dunkin Donuts finisher. They ask me 'What do you do?' 'I finish donuts,'" he said.
Lima works for a Dunkin Donuts factory in Manassas, Virginia, that supplies donuts to seven of the global chain's stores in the region.
His job is to oversee the making of all the different kinds of donuts, and to put the finishing touches on them.
Once donuts are baked, he makes sure that they have the right amount of decorations, such as frosting and sprinkles.
"I have about 15 years of experience as a baker, a fryer as well, and as long a finisher as well, always with Dunkin Donuts, that's where I am in the profession, about 15 years ago with Dunkin Donuts. Here, with this corporation, I have been here since they started this kitchen a little less than a year ago," he said.
For Lima, who spent his early life as a television producer, the job is a labor of love.
But finishing the donuts is harder than it looks: there are several steps in the process that if you mess up one, you have to start all over again.
But when done correctly, they make for delicious treats for all, including Lima.
"This is why I love my job. Filling donuts: you get to eat them. Yes, I eat the donuts every single day. If I do not eat the donuts, I do not taste the product, and if I do not taste the product, I do not know what I am sending," Lima said.
Lima has an overnight team helping him get the donuts ready to be delivered to the stores.
"So, typically, on average, we make approximately a 900 to 1,000 dozen donuts a day that we deliver to each store," said district manager Christina Cabral.
The donut-makers say it takes passion to fill the donuts correctly and make the perfect dozen.
