Tomorrow will mark China's national memorial day. It's on the same date 77 years ago, Japanese invaders began the notorious Nanjing Massacre. Nanjing municipal archives will release 100 citizen petitions, reporting their painful losses during the slaughter.

Nanjing municipal archives releases more evidence

The petitions were issued during February 1938 to January 1946. Massacre survivors reported cases of rape, arson, robbery, disappearance and slaughter of their families. All of the Japanese invaders inhuman behaviour were recorded in details. They asked the then government for help, to claim loss from Japanese authority. The exhibition will last from December 5th to 24th. It is the first time the copies of these evidence are shown to the public.
