Fan Kexin wins women's 500m at ISU Short Track World Cup

It was the final day of competition from the latest stop on the Short Track Speed Skating circuit. And China was looking to add to their medal haul from the opening day, when they grabbed two gold medals in Seoul.

In the women's 3000m relay, team China would trail South Korea and Russia midway through the race.

China would make a move with three laps to go and forge into the lead. Lin Yue putting her team in front.

The girls in red would not relinquish their advantage and Fan Kexin cruised to victory in a time of 4 minutes, 16.782 seconds. South Korea finished second and Russia had to settle for third place.

Chinese star captures fourth title of the season

In the women's 500m final, Fan Kexin would seek a second medal, and she would be pushed by South Korea's Jeon Ji-Soo. The Chinese skater would not give her opponent a chance to pass, and she grabs gold in 43.747 seconds, to win her fourth title of the season. Jeon took silver, while Britain's Elise Christie grabbed bronze.
