Xi Jinping: 'Tiger' cases show CPC's determination

Chinese President Xi Jinping says the handling high profile corruption cases in recent years demonstrates the determination of the Communist Party of China to fight corruption.

President Xi has reiterated zero tolerance to corruption. 

It's President Xi's first public comments on the downfall of so-called "tigers" - high ranking officials, who've been punished for corruption.Notable cases include former security Chief Zhou Yongkang, and former vice chairman of the Central Military Commission Xu Caihou.

The remarks were made during a meeting of the Communist Party of China's disciplinary watchdog. President Xi has reiterated zero tolerance to corruption. He said the party will reinforce its hard-line policy and create an environment which doesn't in any way make it attractive. He urged the party's leaders and disciplinary watchdogs to continue their efforts.
