The skills portion of the NBA All-Star Weekend wrapped up just hours ago in the Barclays Center in New York. In the much anticipated Slam Dunk Contest, it would come down to youngsters Zach LaVine and Victor Oladipo seeking to dazzle the judges and crowd to claim the title.

Orlando Magic's Oladipo brought fans to their feet in the first round with a flying 360-degree spin with a two-handed reverse finish.
Minnesota Timberwolves' LaVine, meanwhile, would wow the crowd with a between-the-legs, one-handed reverse dunk. The teenage rookie then follows up with a behind-the-back slam off a his own feed.
In the championship round, he defeats Oladipo with two more between-the-legs slams that earned 94 points. Teammate Andrew Wiggins assists on the second passing off the basket stanchion. Beastly jam!
The 19-year-old LaVine becomes the second-youngest winner of the competition. Kobe Bryant won it in 1997 at the age of 18.
In the Three-point Contest, Golden State's Klay Thompson led with 24 after the first round. But the Warriors guard loses his momentum in the final round and scores only 14.
Meanwhile, teammate Steph Curry finds his rythm in the final round, and wins the contest with a record score of 27. Curry hits 13 shots in a row at one point in the final round.
In the Skills Challenge, Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley comes back to beat Brandon Knight to lift the trophy.
