Youthful energy rocks the catwalk at China fashion week

The Bosideng Winter coats collection adopts an unconventional color palette. Flora designs inspired by traditional Chinese embroidery highlights a unique oriental beauty. The collection employs environmental friendly technology to produce lightweight fabrics that enable chic designs as opposed to the usually cumbersome winter coats.

"Our designs are practical too, they have eiderdown but also high tech fabrics that also lock the heat in. So with this double system, it is very warm to wear, yet also very light and fashionable," said Zhu Lin, a designer.

Another highlight of the fashion week is this casual attire showcase. The designer mixes flamboyant colors, loose designs and numerous accessories and ornaments to create a youthful and sporty look.

From simple T-shirts and backpacks to overblown sunglasses and even selfie-sticks, the show ignites the passion of the viewers and models alike.

"Casual attire mainly targets young people, in the past people value comfort the most, but now they think the design has to be creative and fun, this has now become the first priority for customers," said Qi Gang, a designer.

The eight-day festival will run until this Tuesday and has attracted 41 brands and fashion institutions from all around the world. So be sure to catch a last glimpse of the fashion feast before it's too late.
