The clip is so shocking that it has attracted tens of thousands of retweets and comments. Internet users criticized the man, surnamed Zhang, for behaving so impulsively and outrageously. The man, whose wife and child were also traveling with him in the car, has been detained by the local police on criminal charges. He claimed that the other driver suddenly changed lanes, scaring his child, who then began crying in the car. The dashboard video camera installed in his vehicle recorded the whole incident and showed that after the lane-changing, the two drivers, who were both angry, also started to race each other and shout at each other through their car windows. Zhang said he then decided to resolve the problem with violence.
