Guo'an announced the news on its official website and thanked Zhang for his contribution to the club, and wished him luck in this new phase of his career.

Zhang, 26, has had spells with three Portuguese clubs, including between 2009 and 2013, before moving on loan to Germany's Eintracht Braunschweig. He will now fly to Nanjing and join his new club, and he will be expected to appear in the friendly against Real Sociedad a week today.
