Chinese President Xi Jinping has concluded an inspection tour to a wildlife rescue base in Zimbabwe. He said wildlife is an important part of the natural ecological system. and China has been strengthening efforts on protecting wildlife habitats and breeding work.

Xi concludes visit to wildlife base in Zimbabwe

The president said China had made achievements on cracking down illegal trade for wildlife products and encouraging civil organizations to join in the protection work. Xi also said wildlife protection is one of the key cooperation areas between China and Zimbabwe. and China will continue to offer material assistance to Zimbabwe.

President Xi has left the country, and is heading for South Africa to kick-start his official visit.
