China's Two Sessions have attracted attention from the US, which is China's largest global trading partner.

The U.S. media is paying close attention to this year's "lianghui" or Two Sessions, and not just because of celebrity delegates like movie star Jackie Chan and basketball legend, Yao Ming.

The U.S. is seeking closer cooperation with its largest trading partner on a range of issues, so there's heightened interest in the priorities that China's leaders will set for the coming year. One priority is "political discipline." According to a Wall Street Journal article published Tuesday.

China will continue to focus on anti-corruption and party discipline.

Meanwhile, in social media, CCTV's Mandarin news service posted a question on Weibo asking: "What do you think should be discussed at the Two-Sessions?" And here are some answers.

CCTV NEWS also posted a poll on Facebook to get people to weigh in.

According to the latest tally, "pollution," "food," "medical security" and "anti-corruption" remain issues that resonates most with the poll's respondents.
