Foreign scholars have hailed China political and economic development in the past few years and expressed confidence in its further progress.

"China is the world's biggest trading country now and it will continue to hold that lead in the next few years. It's very important,"

"China is now contributing to the world economy through the Belt and Road initiative by seeking cooperation on capacity and technology with other countries, promoting common development and opening new markets,"

"China's contribution to world finance includes the internationalization of the RMB. The SDR basket inclusion of RMB is a big economic contribution to the world," said Zheng Yongnian, Director of East Asian Ins't, National Univ. of Singapore.

"Other countries have grown at one percent, two percent or three percent at maximum. The Chinese economic growth rate will be sustainable for a long period of time," said Prof. Srikanth Kondapalli from Jawaharlal Nehru University.

"China is now absolutely determined on corruption. I am absolutely sure, having met President Xi Jinping, knowing Wang Qishan and some of the other people, that they do not believe China can succeed unless the officials are removed from the tint of corruption,"

"So what have I seen in the last three or four years is a determined approach on corruption, which makes me feel very positive about China, and a clarity of economic development agenda," said Stephen Perry, Chairman of 48 Group Club.
