What about China's human space flight development? China may have started relatively late in this field, but it has made very impressive improvements in the past years.

It was not until 1992 that China formally set up its first human space flight project. And after 4 unmanned flights in the following decades, the first Chinese astronaut, Yang Liwei, went into space with the Shenzhou Five spacecraft in October, 2003 -- making this a milestone in Chinese space history.

Today, China has conducted five manned spacecraft missions in total, and has completed its first manual docking test. Safe to say, China is on the fast track when it comes to space exploration.
