Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said China is willing to further promote maritime cooperation with Greece.

China seeks maritime cooperation with Greece 

Li said the successful deal involving the port of Piraeus shows that Chinese companies have confidence in Greece. And he said China is an engine for the global economy, and Greece will also become a strong EU member.

As part of the eastern Mediterranean region, Greece plays a leading role in stabilizing the region's development. And as China's One Belt and One Road initiative expands into European countries, Greece will also be a significant connector.
