Is it hot enough for you? A chili pepper eating contest has been held in Lijiang, Yunnan province. Participants were to eat as many as possible while soaking in a 1-point-1-meter-diameter tub filled with the hot peppers, experiencing the spiciness both inside-out, and outside-in. The pepper of choice was the Yunnan special Xiaomijiao, classified as "extremely hot". The winner downed 47 raw peppers in just 2 minutes. Talk about burning ambition.
