Now if cliff diving isn't already crazy enough for you, why not spice it up by doing it in a waterfall? That's excatly what was going on in Chishui in Guizhou Province where 12 divers from ten countries, including some former Olympic medalists, would show their skills in the first cliff diving competition ever held in China.

The platform is 27 meters high and right next to a waterfall for just a bit of extra scenery and danger, not that the latter is required.

Compared to Olympic diving event, cliff diving requires the athletes to enter the water with feet first and they must remain stright when doing so in order to prevent serious injury.

After two rounds of competetion, Michal Navratil from the Czech Republic claimed the title with a dive of 5.7 degrees of difficulty.
