As Chinese consumers tire of traditional mementos during the Lunar New Year holidays, global retailers have tried to find something new to attract buyers during the gift-giving period. Tastes are changing in China, and limited-edition or exclusive rooster luxury items, available only during the Spring Festival holiday, have been bestsellers.
