One of the two Chinese teenage girls killed in the deadly crash of an Asiana Airlines Boeing 777 on July 6, might have been run over by an emergency vehicle, San Francisco’s local fire department spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge indicated on Sunday.
Talmadge noted that the local medical examiner was conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of the girl's death saying "one of the deceased did have injuries consistent with those of having been run over by a vehicle."
Talmadge also emphasized that it was still too early to speculate on the cause of the crash.
U.S. federal transportation authorities are still in the initial stages of their investigation into the cause of Saturday's deadly crash.
More than 180 people were injured in the crash, at least two dozen of them seriously.
